ABOUT
Madeleine Pietschman
Lives & works in Brooklyn, NY
Hi! I'm Madeleine. I'm a Fashion Design graduate from Kent State University (Class of '24) with a passion for bold, expressive design. Influenced by punk culture, femininity, & individualism, my designs embrace alternative fashion aesthetics & prioritize inclusivity. I’m envision myself working freelance or within creative, forward-thinking teams.
My interests go beyond fashion, I’m also passionate about film, photography, & visual storytelling. I’m excited to explore opportunities across the creative industry, where I can collaborate, experiment, & bring meaningful ideas to life .I'm passionate about multidisciplinary collaboration & am eager to explore opportunities not only locally, but also internationally. I love to travel & hope to take my creative work abroad, contributing to global creative communities & gaining new perspectives along the way.
I’m a licensed cosmetologist & educator in New York & Ohio.
In the past I assisted with media organization & episode archiving at Verge.fm, a nonprofit online radio station I help support with friends to highlight Midwestern creatives & foster connection through art & sound.
Outside of work, I love photography, art, traveling, & finding new food spots around the city. I'm always learning & striving to grow—both creatively & personally.
